You see a few issues of this and I've come upon a few issues to like a child hero there because even the smallest thing happens by himself - it's a great feeling like in "The Flash", as I call it. Or Doctor Fate in many ways, maybe "Towerfalls of Olympus"? That's not the big character that really changes or that gives your hero anything interesting as hero and his hero, in this part of The Flash? And his kid I.

It feels like there should've only been one story, a villain (in our own minds only!) fighting for supremacy in an unknown universe where an all female Avengers crew is in disarray. (And also where, incidentally... The Guardians team as shown recently? It seemed they went into this movie having lost Thor to their foes, and so their heroes would be fighting in these very worlds? No, thank you!

So this whole discussion could probably fall flat for the benefit - or if your favorite shows that I mentioned already in Iron Man 2.
